front-end developer
Job summary
The goal of a front-end developer at Yabba Data Doo is to build dashboards that visualise the impact indicators for clients. The dashboard needs to be connected to a data warehouse to provide these insights in a continuous fashion.
Each project is tailor-made for the client, so flexibility and creativity are required of you. This entitles adding interactive functionality to the dashboard in case the client has the need to, for example, zoom in or select certain periods or sections of the data.
Additionally, you are engaged to take part in the design and setup of the data infrastructures (data warehouse and APIs) and help develop models to analyse the data for clients.
Main responsibilities

Building custom (interactive) dashboards for clients.

Connecting the dashboard to the data warehouse to provide continuous insight

Integrating the dashboard in the client’s IT environment (server or cloud).
Requirements
Essential
-
University degree, ideally a master's level or higher, in a data visualisation-related field *

Good programming skills in Python and JavaScript

Autonomous yet collaborative approach to work

Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment
Desirable

Relevant work experience in data visualisation

Programming skills in server engines (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and/or SQL

Good prioritising and time management skills

Experience with data science and data engineering
